The agreement behind the site and sale.
These terms govern use of The Boil Test. If ordering opens, the terms shown at that time, together with the product page and linked shipping, return, warranty and privacy policies, form the purchase contract.
Seller of record
The Boil Test will be the seller of record. We will set the price, take responsibility for the order, provide support, manage refunds and warranty claims, and remain responsible even when the selected manufacturer ships directly.
The legal seller name, operating street address, home-state and local licensing, and applicable sales-tax registrations are launch dependencies. The brand must first be registered as a lawful trade name or operated through a separate entity. Those details will be disclosed before payment and checkout will remain unavailable until they are complete.
Orders and price
No contract is formed while the shop is in preview. Once ordering opens, submitting payment is an offer to buy the named unit at the displayed total. We may reject or cancel an order for a payment failure, address problem, stock error, legal restriction or obvious pricing error, and will refund any amount captured for a cancelled order.
The displayed price will include every mandatory charge other than government tax and the exact disclosed shipping charge. There will be no late handling or processing fee. We offer one-time purchases only, with no subscription or automatic renewal.
Product claims and availability
Only the exact model named on the product page will be sold. Before launch, we will keep substantiation for every performance claim, confirm exact-model certification and any required California registration, document Wisconsin approval or exemption, and obtain the manufacturer's Proposition 65 exposure determination. If a required warning applies, it will appear before purchase and with the product as required.
Reviews must be genuine and attributable. We do not create reviews, require positive sentiment, hide lawful criticism or present a selected set as representative when it is not.
Acceptable use
You may use the site for personal, lawful purposes. Do not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape it in a way that disrupts service, or use its content to misrepresent evidence or product performance.
No medical or safety advice
Site content is educational and commercial information, not medical or safety advice. TDS is not a measure of contamination. For an assessment of water, use a certified laboratory or the applicable utility report.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Boil Test is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the site. For a product order, our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount paid for that order. These limits do not apply where prohibited, and do not exclude liability that law does not allow us to exclude.
Governing law
The governing state and venue depend on the seller entity selected before launch. We will name both here before the first order. Mandatory consumer protections in your home state continue to apply where they cannot lawfully be waived.
